Did purchasing the WMA permit resolve your problem?

I wish they’d put a select all button on there. When you register all your buddies for every hunt that ends up being a ton of clicking lol

I also wish you could go through and click the ones you wanted and then select them all at once. I registered for damn near every hunt at Uchee creek, Portland landing, Cedar creek, and Thigpen Hill, and Oak mountain state park. Some of the others I did not register for during the rut because I believe Would rather just hunt on my leased properties than some of the other places.

On the left side there was a search bar you could have searched each area you wanted. That is how I did it, and I did not have to look through all 15+ pages.

I did that. But when I would register for one the page would re-set

The page resets each time you select and it removes that hunt from the listing and puts it in your cart. You can view them all. I registered for 27 different hunts at the 3 different SOA's that I was interested in. Hoping to get 1-2 out of that wide range.

You can only accept one and don’t hold your breath.

I definitely wouldn’t plan on hunting an SOA. I’ve applied the last 3 years and have never been drawn.

I registered for some of the Portland landing, Cedar creek, and Upper State hunts. I have registered for several hunts every year since the SOA’s have been offered. I have yet to be picked for a single hunt yet.

I’ve been draw for four different SOA hunts, and went along as guests for that many more. They all sucked. Regular wma was better than the soa.

You should get picked this year. I was thinking my 9 was big.

Do you have to buy any type license if out of state to register?

I’ve registered every year since inception, I wasn’t drawn until I had 28 points (two years ago) so I’m guessing that’s probably where you might start getting your hopes up to be drawn.

I have 2 friends that have had tremendous luck getting drawn. One has been selected 2 out if the last 3 years and the other was selected the last two years in a row. I've got my fingers crossed that I get lucky this year.

I feel like most of the guys that complain about never getting drawn for an SOA hunt are also the guys who go through and cherry pick certain areas/dates. If you only register for 5-6 hunts you have a lot less of a chance of getting drawn than if you’d registered for all 100+ hunts. I’ve registered for every single hunt they’ve offered since the program began and have gotten drawn or gotten to go with a buddy who drew every single year.
