I used to know an old guy who would pour it on his fence line. He said he was just returning it to where it came from.

Be a a Man change your own Oil. Used Motor oil go’s back in the Jug from which, the new came from, comes in handy for starting Fires. That is if your Hoa allows that sort of thing. 😎

I’ll pass. Ain’t worth my time when I have two young kids at home and don’t want to spend what little free time I have doing things I hate.

Have not changed my on oil in years and never plan to start again. Fellow who does mine does a good job for a reasonable cost. Just not worth my time and effort to do it myself.

It’s really not. I have a 5 gallon hydraulic oil bucket that I fill up. Drop it by the express when I’m the area.

I use a fumoto valve so my oil changes don’t even require tools unless I got the filter too tight. To each his own but it’s too easy to pay for.

Mom drove her car home without a drain plug because of one of the genius’ that get paid to do it. They forgot to put the cap back on dads truck at the dealership and blew oil all over the engine bay.

It is real easy to walk into any auto store and dispose of it if you are a city feller.

Though, I've heard a rumor that the stuff catches things on fire. Mix it with a little gas in a jar and start campfires. Treat lumber with it. Burn brush. We burn our trash so sometimes it helps to bump up the heat.

You must have a lot of engines to get that quantity of oil

not really just put it in your shopping cart next time you go to walmart and leave it back at autoparts. thats what I started doing when they started not being around. they charge a disposal fee, so they can handle it.

Much easier for me to pull into a place real quick and ten minutes later I’m out and gone. There two places that I’ve used for the past 15 or so years so I’ll keep doing that

I've used quickie places and dealerships over the years from time to time.
They always want to seem to up-sell other maintenance while you are there.

I change my on oil now and take the used oil to O'Reilly's now.

I am 66, so it is not that easy for me, but at least I know it was done right.

Don't confuse my user name with any sort of alphabet faggotry.

It only stands for drag racing, and Route 66 was my home track back in the day.

I take my wife's van to the dealership we purchased from and have them change it. I change the oil in my truck even tho my time is worth more than screwing with it.
