Models are showing a hurricane in gulf by next Wednesday. Looks like it has the potential to track into FL panhandle. It’s 8 days from actually developing and entering the gulf. I sure hope nothing ever comes of it.

They can't predict where a Hurricane will go in 1-2 days so not sure how they think they can predict one 8+ days out?? I guess when things are quiet no-one is watching weather channels so they now try to gin up some attention with these crazy week plus predictions.

Still a long ways out, but we'll keep an eye on it. It is that time of the year.

Definitely looks like it will bring some rain to the area if it holds up. Question is, will this make you rush to plant this weekend if you haven't already? I'm not a fan of a monsoon on my seeds personally. I'll probably still hold out for a better time in early-mid October.

Here we are a little past the peak of hurricane season and we have a potential storm 8 days out. A meteorologist nightmare 2022 has been thus far.

This is my plan as well. At least for the plowed fields. I may put in my throw and mow plots before though. All depends on how much I get done Friday.

We've done set our date for October 22nd which sounds to me.

One of the guys on alabamawx wrote this, “Don’t be alarmed by what you may see online in the coming days, because there will be plenty of morons and trolls showing the worst possible outcomes of this system from model run to model run; just know we will be watching it”. Got a pretty good laugh from me. And, sure, it could turn into something, which is why we watch it.

Fall is my favorite time to fish in the Gulf. Sure don't want to have to make the Mad-Rush down to get my Boat off the lift....

Zero. Its going to hit some land somewhere. How strong and where though is still too far out to be certain.

That is a good time to go, less people, and cooler.

We will know by Saturday. If it doesn't go over Hispaniola is probably has a good chance of US impact.

Look how far north they project Fiona to be a major hurricane.
