Who should he pick? Many names have been thrown around. Read an article a few minutes ago about Pam Bondi on the website www.worldview.com
She's a new name that has apparently come up in the talks.
Interesting article, but would she be another similar to Sarah Palin? Would she help or hurt the Romney campaign? Who do y'all think would help Romney the most?

I firmly believe that a double gallows should be constructed on the East Lawn of The White House. Politicians who willfully and shamelessly violate their oath to uphold and defend the Constitution of the United States of America should be swiftly tried and, upon conviction, publicly hanged at sunup the day after conviction. If multiple convicts are to be hanged they can choose with whom to share the gallows or names shall be drawn from the hangman's hat to be hanged 2 at a time.

I'll agree with that assessment too.

I'd like to see Paul Ryan as the VP. He is conservative, has a real good head for tax policy, free markets, capitalism and wants to reign in Federal spending on entitlements. He knows how to handle the media and is used to being attacked by the Left establishment. He is not afraid to call a spade a spade. He is 42 years old and he would be a good Presidential candidate one day. He's not perfect, but I think he would complement Romney because he is more conservative that Romney, who is seen as a more moderate candidate.

But I would not blink an eye if Alan West was the VP either. He brings a different style and a different outlook, butI shure like him too.

I like them both. Both have good economic policies and views on taxation. I like West a little more for his experience in the Military and his view on Middle East affairs. Takes no Bull per say...

I agree that it needs to be someone who can carry FL or OH, and hopefully both. Someone with some fiscal principals because they will have the tie-breaking vote in the Senate.
He does NOT need to pick someone based on race or gender. He needs to pick someone based on principals and character.

I would rather see Ryan appointed Secretary of Treasure. Allen West would be good choice but I also like him for Sec of State. Rubio would probably be best choice at this time to wrap up Fla like Bamachem said.

Pam Bondi is hot and probably a real nice person and real smart but the fact that her name is even being mentioned for the VP spot scares the hell out of me.
Without your 2nd amendment rights you have no 1st amendment rights.

Agreed.....and Rubio's liberal side has shown a little lately and that turns me against him.

There are probably a short list of 5 or 6 candidates. Anyone elses name you see thrown in is done by the party to boost attention for them. Nothing more.
