Does anyone else leave their land and hunt Bankhead area first week of the season? I've always heard of the nov rut around there.Up here on the state line just before Christmas they will be on fire.In Jan try to hunt Skyline and go south following the rut. I never killed a good deer first couple weeks of season and thinking bout trying that Bankhead out to start with. Any ideas or suggestions?

I always go to one of my good friends farms in Houston AL which joins Bankhead and we always have pretty good success. Weather usually dictates which week I go down but it's usually around mid November. Someone usually kills a pretty good deer. I think it would be a good move.
