I've shot plenty of deer with a rifle and had the other deer in the area stick around. Shot a doe last year with two bucks, 2 YO and a 3 YO, within 100 yards of my stand. They looked up at the shot then went back to feeding. Sat in the stand and another hunter shot about 300 yards away a few minutes later.
Bucks kept feeding... Muzzle flash scare deer more the noise lol . If a deer is looking my way I will not shoot in low light. If you a good ways away you may mess up lol

2Dogs , three men can wipe a place out if they work together. Man drives are deadly.
What we done a lot of times .
Even running dogs we'd walk out places and kill damn nice bucks the dogs never got up.
As for coon hunting , you let some body coon hunt it you'll see more deer during the day.
You can have pressure and still kill nice deer .
Passive hunting is OK but you ain't gonna see as many deer doing it . I know , that's how I have to hunt now. Only driving these fellers did was to load the truck bed up with dead deer.
"Why do you ask"?
Always vote the slowest path to socialism.

That's works too . Lot of my hunting was done alone . I was in my early 40s before I planted my first green field for deer. I've hunted three total years with a feeder running . Little off topic but a lot of hunters have turned hunting into shooting . Then make excuses why they ain't killing deer. Sad things that's what their kids learn .
