I've been dabbling a bit in the world of crossbows too, but like you a Ravin is just out of the question price wise for me...The local sporting goods and archery shop (Shotgun Sports supply in Anniston) carries PSE and sold a friend of mine a PSE Fang, they have a package deal on the bow and he is into it for like 425 bucks tax and all....It shoots over 400 ft per second and is very, very accurate....
