What would y’all do with Desantis as his VP? It would be a risk, but perfectly legal for Trump to choose DeSantis as his running mate. It is doable, but the devil is in the details. For example, the number of electorial votes they win. This link explains the "what if" on prez and vp are from same state. I know the article is from Politico. but it basically mirrors everything else I found on the subject. https://www.politifact.com/factchec...ident-vice-president-same-state-allowed/

He wants to get out ahead of everyone to put the Trump fear in them. BTW, he's gonna lose. That and he is just going to cloud up the real news that we really need to be paying attention to. He's the Alpha dog marking his terra and barking the loudest, drowning out the rest of the pack. He thinks.

If Donald Trump is on the general election ballot for 2024, whether as a Rep or Ind, a Democrat will be the next POTUS. someone feel free to save this post because you can take it to the bank.
(Note: I absolutely, truly, hope I am wrong)
Yep. I pray to God he loses in the primaries. The problem with that is if he loses the Rep primary he may very well run as an Ind which would only split Rep votes. Either way it’s a Lose-Lose. I don’t know what the “answer” is… If Trump were to lose the primary then declare to run as an independent, then everyone would know for sure that Trump is more about himself and not about doing what’s best for the country. I’m not sure he would, but if he did do that, he legacy would be gone and the hatred for him from RINOs, Dems, and independents would immediately spread amongst his current supporters. Whoever the R is that gets the nomination gets my vote. Trump, Desantis, or someone else. Defeating the Dems is too important not to. I hope the libertarians on here and across the country feel that way too.

The first primary is what, about 18 months away? Never too early for an attention whore. He couldn’t even wait until the runoff in Georgia was over.

I'd think he'd have to mount a write in campaign. I think you would have file papers to run independent well in advance of the conventions. I might be all wrong on that though.

People don’t understand how important us not winning seats in the senate was, this go around. Those are 6 year appointments. Those vulnerable Dems that we should have replaced with Repubs are now safe and those seats are untouchable for another 6 yrs. Those extra 4 or 5 seats that we should have won this time, would have given the Repubs a filibuster proof majority in 2024, if the Repubs were to only win 4 or 5 more seats in 2024 when there are a ton of Dem senate seats up for grabs. It’s almost like the Repubs don’t care or bother to even think about planning ahead. Meanwhile, the Dems are lookin out 20 and 30 years.

Doesn't matter who thr nominee is. The commies are gonna win every election going forward. They have been working on it since mashed potato brain got in office. The dems know he is not capable of functioning through a second term and he may not make it to the end of this term.

Fact, and I hope I'm wrong too.

We'll have a little better idea of where he stands on Dec. 6 in the GA runoff. He was all about Herschel last night. Personally, I think that sunk Herschel. Now everyone in GA that is not inclined to vote for Trump will go vote for the crooked preacher. If Herschel can pull it off then maybe Trump still some umph in his arse.
I really wish he wouldn't do this and just turn the reins over to Desantis.
Lord, please help us get our nation straightened out.

I will vote for Desantis in the primary race if he runs.
If he doesn't, I'll vote for Trump.
If Desantis runs, and does not win the primary and Trump does, I will vote for Trump in the general election.
But I'm like everyone else, the Dems will cheat their way in from here on out.

What would y’all do with Desantis as his VP? Trumps recent personal attacks on Desantis pretty much let us know that will not likely happen. I wouldn’t put much weight into personal attacks. It’s politics, they’ll do what they need to position themself and then backtrack on all of it when needed. Biden called Kamala a whore, she called him racist and they are bff’s now. To think of it, that was probably the last coherent thing Biden has said. Lol
