If Trump were to lose the primary then declare to run as an independent, then everyone would know for sure that Trump is more about himself and not about doing what’s best for the country. I’m not sure he would, but if he did do that, he legacy would be gone and the hatred for him from RINOs, Dems, and independents would immediately spread amongst his current supporters. Whoever the R is that gets the nomination gets my vote. Trump, Desantis, or someone else. Defeating the Dems is too important not to. I hope the libertarians on here and across the country feel that way too.

Yep. People don’t understand how important us not winning seats in the senate was, this go around. Those are 6 year appointments. Those vulnerable Dems that we should have replaced with Repubs are now safe and those seats are untouchable for another 6 yrs. Those extra 4 or 5 seats that we should have won this time, would have given the Repubs a filibuster proof majority in 2024, if the Repubs were to only win 4 or 5 more seats in 2024 when there are a ton of Dem senate seats up for grabs. It’s almost like the Repubs don’t care or bother to even think about planning ahead. Meanwhile, the Dems are lookin out 20 and 30 years.

I will vote for Desantis in the primary race if he runs.
