We ain't talked about this in a while. I've been watching some videos that are showing some villages completely destroyed. All those little villages between melitipol and bakmut are pretty much gone. That said, latest civilian casualty rate showed 6700 people. How? Those folks move out? Where'd they go? So'd they just go west? The war outta sight, outta mind? There's just so much interesting diversity being destroyed there...for nothing.

Americans, fought for 20yrs in the schit holes of Iraq and Afghanistan and lost 7000. I know it wasn’t a conventional war against a standing Army, but still. 100K in a year is horrible

They are having to buy munitions from the Iranians and the North Koreans.
Glad I dont have to use North Korean shells.
I love my country, but don't trust my government.

The videos of precision drone grenade drops are bordering on being pathetically obscene. The Russian soldiers are getting grenades dropped straight down on entrances to their dug out positions or in the middle of a circular position or into the open hatches of stationary fighting vehicles. Watching this disastrous invasion play out on YouTube and into the winter is very cringe worthy. Stories of mass graves, torture chambers, neighboring countries becoming depots for arms with possible future launches of offensives coming from them. Defeat and loss of captured territory by a nuclear armed country with global reach.
Just imagine if the USofA dropped down into Mexico and made it all the way to the outskirts of Mexico City only to be pushed all the way back to Texas. Presently only holding the Yucatán peninsula after 300 days and a loss of 100,000 KIA. The most rural and under educated citizens are being conscripted into service with little to no equipment of poor quality. There are pictures circulating of Mosin Nagants being carried by conscripted Russian soldiers. That’s the equivalent of GI’s running around with Lee Enfield 303’s.
I keep thinking they are holding back the elite units but it could be their best got chewed up in the first months. Reportedly their soldiers are stealing washing machines and toilets to bring back home as trophies and plunder. The washing machines may be getting their circuit boards used for tech in Russian missile due to their dependence upon foreign technology. It’s a tar baby and they don’t look to be able to get unstuck.

I know it wasn’t a conventional war against a standing Army, but still. 100K in a year is horrible Americans fought for 10k days in vietnam and lost 59k troops. That tells you something about the war in Ukraine...or russia's lack of preparedness for it.

Watched a vid the other day where they think a javelin shot down a helo. They slowmo'd it down and you could see where the rocket went above and then the downward explosion.

I've seen that one goodman, the one i mentioned was at a diff angle and lower flying aircraft. But it was the same type detonation, so it coulda been an s300 instead.

I've seen it speculated to be a couple different things.I can't remember if UA released an official statement. I think the ATGM in top attack mode would probably look similar. I'm not sure what it was. https://twitter.com/InUAOfficial/status/1599501293352984576This the one ?

China doesnt want their weapon tech getting sold to a NATO country. Pretty much it. Xi knows Putin's days are numbered and when the rats start leaving the ship they will be taking their technology with them to more friendly environs.
Lord, please help us get our nation straightened out.

I think there have been mass migrations from the war torn areas.
I'm reading that the Russians are actually running out of munitions. They only have enough missiles left for a few more salvos and the artillery shells they have been reduced to slinging are over 40 years old at this point. They are having to buy munitions from the Iranians and the North Koreans.
Russia's population was already in decline before they started this crap. I honestly don't think, going forward, that their society can survive. They have already lost more than 100k troops and many more of their young men are dying every day. Not to mention the young men who have fled the country and will never return.
Putin, trying to keep his country relevant, is on the verge of destroying it forever. https://www.thedefensepost.com/2022/10/11/russia-lost-soldiers-ukraine/As of Oct. these are the numbers from Ukraine - Russia has lost nearly 63,000 soldiers since it launched its invasion of Ukraine on February 24, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine said. The losses are attributed to Kyiv’s strong counter-offensives, particularly in key locations captured by Moscow. Apart from the casualties, Russia has reportedly also lost thousands of weapons and equipment amid the ongoing war. A total of 2,505 Russian main battle tanks have been destroyed, while 5,165 armored combat vehicles were neutralized. Moscow has also lost more than 1,000 aircraft and drones due to Ukraine’s strong air defense systems. The 100K number is from Gen. Marks but I would not trust mucg he said.

It aint quit 100K but its estimated to be over 95K a day or so ago The number you quoted probably doesn't take into account LPR, DPR, Wagner or Iranian forces. Thats not including WIA which is probably 3:1 ratio of KIA ETA the 63k is from beginning of Oct, there's been a couple of weeks since then where there was 800 plus kia per day. Hitting the barracks really upped the body count. generally its a minimum 300 plus kia per day
