Thanks so much for the post! It's encouraging to have some folks with like minded faith around the mess of a world that we have to live in. I am constantly amazed by what a personal relationship with Jesus has done in my life. Growing up, I was always in church. Didn't have much of a choice, as my dad was a pastor. I started to rebel pretty hard as a teenager and started hanging with a rough crowd of folks. Developed a problem with alcohol and got a dui at 22, which probably saved my life looking back. Had already flipped a car on its top and it burnt to the ground and my parents thought I burnt up in the car because my car was found on fire. God has been with me through many hard times in my life, and I finally made the decision a few years ago to stop running from Him. I went from being broke all the time and down in a pit of darkness, anger and depression, to being blessed beyond measure and full of joy! Jesus can and will change your life, if you let Him. It takes full surrender, but so worth the reward. John, I will be praying for you with whatever you are going through brother. I hope each and everyone of you have a great New Year's day and be blessed!

Jwalker it's great to read or hear your testimony again. It is one that gives hope to whoever reads it and this morning that was me ag6.

JohnG you would be surprised how many of us are on here JW is a great person, friend and man as you will find. His faith is unwavering. I can promise you when he was being tested hard a few weeks ago he knew it was a test and everything was going to be ok. If you need anything just holler your needs will be met.

Very well said, I have seen how God blesses those who put their trust in him and not the worldly things....I have personally had some hard and tough times, but during those times when I could not get help from anyone, including family, God ALWAYS made a way......

I’d be ashamed if I didn’t mention that I wouldn’t be where I’m at in my life without him taking it over. I’ve been blessed beyond measures and deserve absolutely none of it. Love these post. Prayers for you JohnG, takes a man to do what your doing and mean it.

I am blessed way more than I deserve

I hav been on both sides of the fence - away from the Lord and also very involved w my walk. I hav always been the most at peace when I am active in my faith - Living for the world was always fleeting - never satisfied
