Up around North Jackson area in Little Coon over toward sinking cove and points farther it's just before Christmas . Central county , Hi-top and upper PRV is now. Lower end of PRV is in a couple weeks. Up where you are should be rocking bout now.

It goes back to where the deer released during restocking in the late 50's-early 60's came from and were released . Those way up in east NJ get some TN influence as well. The deer released at Hi-Top and those released on the Jones farm in lower PRV came from different places . Also to add more confusion , deer in central Jackson Co. near the river have some native genes. You can look at the state's rut timing map and the map that shows where the restocking deer came from and it make sense. Sort of , LOL.
