We got a nice new clear cut on the back side of our place. Sad to see so many big oaks gone and lost our major turkey roosting spot. Very grateful that it hit our woods and not our house though, many people around us did not fare so well.

Hit a mile from our house in Elmore county. One trailer was completely gone with only the steps/stoop left. Nobody was home though. Family is asking for diapers and children’s clothes. Lot of folks got a lot of damage. Puts life in perspective….once again.

What part of Elmore county do you live canvasback? I’ve got family in the light wood community in the north west part of the county and there’s a good bit of damage there.

Couple miles north of my place this time. Last one was a mile south. Difficult day. Lining up being off tomorrow to help anyway I can in Wadsworth/Lightwood. Lots of damage from what I hear but was dark when i got home from work.

Lakehouse got sliced by a pine tree.
Across the slough got absolutely demolished.

Friend of mine will be arriving to the house first thing in the morning with his tree crew and crane.
Thankfully it being off season meant less people at the lake and many of these aren’t primary residences

I am sure you have mentioned it on here, but what part of the lake is your house on?

So, between Alex City and Dadeville it looks like. My sister-in-law has a condo at Crowne Pointe and she said that it was fine, but it is on the southern side of the lake.

That second house from the left of your second picture is a friend of mines mother's place. His mother has been through shucks the last 15 years and now this. That storm did a lot of damage across the state.

The missing person in autauga has been found deceased. That makes the death toll 7 in autauga county. Me and mine are going to donate non perishables this evening and I'll offer myself and chainsaw for any help tomorrow.
