This Lil blonde 14 yr old jewel on the right signed up for football...trying my best to persuade her out of it...she's tough as nails but she about learn a few lessons...

That's the right choice IMO. Let her get a dose of reality. I'm sure this will be a lesson she never forgets. You should tell the boys not to go easy on her.

Kids these days ain’t used to hearing the word “NO”. Only way to get ‘em used to it is to let them hear it more often.

Can she kick?

My daughter was the kicker her senior year. She actually practiced with the boys one day and quickly decided she didn’t want any part of that. She did manage one tackle and several PATs though.

What position could she possibly play without getting absolutely destroyed? Yes, we all know kicker but outside of that, it could be really bad! Both of my boys played football at Hoover High when they were 14. She would not have wanted to get hit by either one of them at 14 in any position on the field. I know you want her to learn a lesson but I would have serious concerns about her safety!!

There was a girls on my sons Junior High Team last year during spring training. She didn’t play in the fall though.

Have a serious talk with her, but ultimately I would let her however I would make it clear to my daughter that if she was going to go against my advice that she would be responsible for her choice and co-pays. I would lay out a firm these are the injuries that end this with concussion, broken bone, or unconsciousness being on that list. After that I would against my wishes let her learn the hard way there is a reason we have boy and girl sports. I would talk to the coach and let him know this is against your wishes but you have decided to let her learn this lesson herself and let nature take its course and pray it was only a minor lesson.

We had two girls come out for varsity football when I played.....They lasted about a week......One of them got scooped up and power slammed by a big defensive end. It knocked the breath out of her pretty bad and that was all she wanted.

Just a matter of time until one of these girls plays center, then what?

That's gonna hurt! I promise!!! No idea what their signing up for!
