This thing had been sitting in a barn for 20+ years and was in bad shape but solid so I decided to make a project out of it. It was a lot of work but turned out pretty good and should be worth a mint
if they ban gas stoves grin

2 coats of Rust-Oleum Ceramic Coating 2000 degree primer and 3 coats of the same in black. I need to touch up the screw heads and it'll be done.

Nice work. Is there room enough for a gasket to line the top door? I bet one for a ceramic grill might fit, if one is supposed to be there. It’s good to see old items brought back to life.

You can buy a sheet of high temp gasket material and ping your own out with a ball peen hammer.

Good luck with your search. I've turned down several offers up to $400 for mine

Mine was made by King Stove & Oven Co. In Sheffield AL. Dad used to get that thing so hot it would glow orange around the bottom. Aslo kept a 50 cent piece or quarter laying on the edge. No idea how many folks walked in the shop and picked one up. Never held it long though 🤣🤣
