I lost mine the day after Christmas this year, mine did linger and suffer for quite sometime but it is still terribly tough when their time comes. I found comfort leaning into our Heavenly Father and letting him know how I felt. Just know that we are the only ones sad, he will soon be rejoicing. I'll be praying for you.
