His home-going is ever so near. I'm praying for God to extend to him His mercy and His grace and not allow him to linger and suffer for a long while. I'm also praying that God will extend to all of us, His comfort and His peace. It's never easy to say goodbye, no matter how or when it happens. I just finished writing his Obit, that I will share with my family tomorrow. The man is leaving behind a legacy, as a man of God, unlike any I have seen, in a long while. I know Our Father in heaven will soon welcome him in with arms wide open but it's still tough. So very tough.

My Daddy passed away 5 years ago this April and it seems like it was only yesterday. I held his hand the last 8 hours he was with us and wish I could hold his hand one more time.
Even if you live a long life, life is short.
