108 is what I got from that pic Winner winner 109 6/8” He’s in my opinion what the “average” mature AL buck is. I only shot him b/c of age, definitely not rack size. Hoping a younger buck will more potential will take his place. 4” bases 19.5” beams

Buckhunter2, I’m not trying to be rude so please do not take it that way. I’m just trying to understand the point you are making because sometimes things get lost in translation. Were you asking aldeer to score that buck to see how many would get it correct just by a pic, or do you think the deer you posted and the op’s pic are similar in size?
I may have missed something, I’ll admit that I haven’t read every comment in this thread.

My take was seeing if anyone would get the score correct from a picture.

The deer in the original post will score right around 137"

No worries! Heck no I don’t think my deer is even remotely close to the caliber of that deer. The point I was trying to make is how hard it is to score a deer from a single pic. In only 3 guesses, one was 14” off on a 110” deer. I think the buck in the OP’s pic will scare 140”. The mass is incredible and the tine length is above average.

There’s some on here comparing their 115-120” deer to the OP’s buck pic and claiming they’re the same size, which they’re not.

It was around 130 according to my 15 yr olds rough measurements I figured 127-130. But I didn’t make a pic trying to make it look 140 I was thrilled to kill one that size.
Would walk over a naked woman to get to a gobblin turkey!

Spread is 15 4/8 wide but G2s are 10 7/8 on right and left is 11 2/8. The guy is like 6’3 and huge hands, thought I’d reverse the scenario.

Beams are 21 and 20.5
We didn’t get exact with it but right side is weaker side. We were around 130 with a cloth tape. We didn’t measure every measurement. Just the ones I’ve mentioned. I thought it would be 125 looking at it. I think mass is what carried it. We had 30 for mass since left side was stronger. Left base was a few eights more so we ran with it.
Just looking at the pic Id only guess 115-120 and think I was being generous. With exact proper measuring it probably would be 128ish gross

Sure are lots opinions on a pic off spacebook. Someone get a tape . Problem solved . There is enough detectives on here to track guy down that shot him and pay him a visit . Lol

Nobody on this site has seen anything but one bad picture of the deer that definitely presents its rack to be bigger than it is. Thats a fact. Nobody knows what it scoted. But theres sure alot of folks on here who are pretty sure about it from one bad picture. Im afraid the lying media has destroyed all of us. You speak a lot of truth JWalker. I enjoy this thread because I have to score a lot of bucks, from pictures and on the hoof before a hunter pulls the trigger. I would say 9 out of 10 people will overestimate one until he is on the ground in front of them. That is true IF they are hunting familiar ground. Throw them into an area where body size is much larger than what they are used to and they will underestimate. The reverse is true as well. Smaller bodied deer will fool the crap out of you. Most people on here probably don't give a shucks and I completely understand that. I was that way for most of my life and still am unless I am hunting where it matters.
