300+ miles from my regular hunting spots . I’m in Escambia county near Huxford hunting my cousins land . Hoping for a deer or a hog this morning. Sitting in a shooting house watching a food plot surrounded by pines . Good luck everyone and be safe ! Glad I brought my warm clothes this morning !! 🥶

Waited until daylight to walk into a spot in some thinned pines and as soon as I got close to the ladder stand a wad of deer jumped up and started to run in circles. Well, the buck I was after was in there with them.. he finally stopped and I think I had it on his shoulder and I shot through some thick stuff. Deer broke and ran everywhere and I’m not sure if I hit the deer. Gonna climb in the stand and give it a couple hours and then look for him. Fingers crossed. He’s the biggest deer we had on camera this year.. Good luck

I am sitting here watching a 200 yard stretch between planted pines. My son has seen a 10 point, 8 point, and 3 point in 1.5 hours on stand this morning. None of the deer meet size requirements but He said the 10 point was mighty close but not certain in meeting size requirements. He said it was a 3.5 year old buck.
