They fly by the cabin on the ridgeline all the time. Sometimes so close I can see the pilot. In the summers when we take showers on the upper deck outside bath they get a free nudie show. I think that's why they keep coming back again and again. That’s funny

The F 35’s in Montgomery that fly there from Hill to train the Air Guard ground crew is probably what you are hearing. They fly to HSV and back often and they are very loud.

Back in the day the air guard would fly low and fast, in pairs, up the Tenn River, on Saturday mornings and afternoons in the Summer . F4s I think. I guess they would practice bombing BNP . I used to live a few miles down river from BNP and they'd wake me up rattling the windows on Saturday mornings.

Seen an osprey fly over my house today, blackhawks and such are pretty regular here but not those. Had one buzz the treetops at choccolocco one day about freaked me out. My backyard is Huntsville Executive Airport. Also has a Yulista plant that works on Osprey's. Even with a hanger between my house and the plane, the windows facing the airport still rattle. Still cool to watch them hover while doing flight testing.

Had a big ole slow moving thump thump thump thump thump to help me kill a nice buck one day here lol Thats funny...when I hunted in Lamar Co, our club president's son in law was a higher up in the helocopter wing out of Columbus AFB. He'd let us know when they would be flying and we'd make sure we were on the gas line when they were.
