The F 35’s in Montgomery that fly there from Hill to train the Air Guard ground crew is probably what you are hearing. They fly to HSV and back often and they are very loud. Back in the day the air guard would fly low and fast, in pairs, up the Tenn River, on Saturday mornings and afternoons in the Summer . F4s I think. I guess they would practice bombing BNP . I used to live a few miles down river from BNP and they'd wake me up rattling the windows on Saturday mornings.
