I'm going to go out several times with local guides to get to know the waters better. Any recs? I've been fishing skinny water for redfish and trout all my life, but not in the Mobile Bay.

Slot reds on the flats and backwaters. Big reds on the bar. Plenty to catch everywhere in between you will be just fine!

Bobby Abruscato with A Team Richard Rutland with Cold blooded These three stay booked and will need to get on their schedule asap. Jay O'Brien with Irish Wake fishing if you want to target blackfish/triple tail in the summer. Have fished with and against all of them in tournaments and they are all top notch guides. I have wanted to learn more about the island, but I like to stay in the north end of the bay. I just hope the flounder numbers continue to improve and that is my favorite species to.fish.
