No need for hiring a guide when you have alhawk, SBS and others on here that know the area. If you need any help surf fishing I’ll be glad to help you. Good luck, have fun and enjoy what you worked hard for.

I wouldn’t go with A team charters if he was the only one down there. Everyone else alhawk suggested are good guys . As far as I’m concerned Bobby can ingest a satchel of richards . I was waiting on someone to say this lol. He can fish, but a lot of people think he is a prick as well.

Went out with D I Reef Monster (Spencer Kight) back in August. Very knowledgeable captain. He kept us on fish all day

Toothdoc, you gonna be towards the west end or east end? West end on the Canals. Put a light on your dock and you can catch all the specks you want at night from a comfortable chair while enjoying adult beverages or whatever your preference is. When you get tired, toss them in a cooler with a bag of ice and get up the next morning and clean them. Moving water is your friend, learn how to watch and read the tides and you'll catch more fish than you know what to do with.

Thanks guys. A-team was booked up because they were running an awesome Mardi Gras special, but I booked a trip early next month with Ugly Fishing. Specs are going to still not going to be in their summer pattern, which is a whole different kind of fishing than a winter or transition pattern.
