Old?? Plz include age. I’m 60 and started feeling my age about six months ago. Health is good. 38 years at the same job takes atoll I guess. Just curious.

Around 40.

At 55 I was in good shape . Now at 63 I barely get around . Life of heavy lifted and manual labor got me.

Don’t remember how old I was but it was the first time the doctor came in and he was younger than me.

59 and I’m starting to really feel it.

From your '50s on, physical stuff hurts. Pier building, chain saw work, log splitting, on and off the tractor, etc. Do it anyway. If you stop, you'll lose the strength and ability quickly.

I was awfully proud of my fil's brother a while back. He fell off a tree stand he was building and broke his arm, on his 70th birthday. Of course, at the time, I was in my 30s, and 70 seemed awfully old. Not so much now.

Bronco - I am the same age as you - I feel it bit I refuse to Stop doing what I do and that's fish , hunt , ride the tractor etc.

I believe the more you push yourself the younger you will Stay - better to move than sit

Hard to do when your joints are bone to bone lol

That feeling comes and goes with pain
When it really hits me is the next day when my body tells me I shoundnt have done something

I noticed at 40 my reading vision went down hill quick. Also some how my bladder shrank. Cant hold it like I use to. I use to be able to eat all the spicy food I wanted. Now is coming out of me before I leave the restaurant, which I dont know how it goes through that quick.

40. Had to get readers. Body parts started hurting I did not know I had.

Keep moving. Somehow, anyhow - keep moving. From 50 to 60 (63 now) I came to realize I’ve lost considerable flexibility, strength, and balance. Over the years I’ve proven I don’t have the discipline to exercise for the sake of my health unless I combine it with entertainment. Now I walk 18 holes of golf three times a week and play pickle ball a couple of times a week. Find a way to keep moving. I don’t jump out of my truck bed anymore. I sit down and step down, but at least I can still do it without help😜.

When I was 45 I could out work 2 25 year olds all day every day. About 50 I started noticing I didn’t have as much endurance or strength. I just keep on going because I know if I stop and hire it all done I will loose what I have left quickly. I’m 57 now.

41 and I'll be fiddy here in a few weeks and it ain't getting no better

I'm 49 (50 on 10/1/23) The last 9 years have been really tough!

Mid 50’s I’ll be 60 in a few weeks. Been retired a year. I’m still active. Yard work garden piddling around the property. I do feel sore in new spots when doing manual labor. Last 2-3 years I’ve felt it more. Keep moving!!!!!!

Turning 65 this month. Been semi-retired for 7 years. Have a few aches and pains every now and then.....Pecker sleeps a lot. But I garden, hunt/fish,tend to my place. Cut,split and sold 8 Cords of Hardwood this Fall/Winter, help folks with building projects every so often.

Several life changing, stress filled events took a toll.
