PYhunter, I take turmeric every day. Why? I don't know. My wife thinks it's a good idea. My buddy is internal medicine Dr. He reads medical journals all the time and picked up on the benefits of Turneric years ago, started taking it himself with good results. I was taking a bunch of ibuprofen at one point and my lab work showed that it was damaging my kidneys so he put the whammy on the NSAIDS. He had me start with 1000mg of Turmeric each day. I could tell it was helping after a month. I haven't had any side effects.. Curious; how did the labs identify Ibuprofen as the cause, rather than something else?

I’ve been told my numerous doctors and pharmacists that it doesn’t cause any side effects when taking the recommended dosage. I take turmeric as well and the occasional ibuprofen when I’m really hurting.
