For lighter weight bullets in a 300 Winny it's hard to beat IMR 4350.

4350 is really good at "settling down" a rifle that hates slow burners. Seriously if your caliber lists 4350 start out with that for a baseline. Oh? Bclc and au338 are good people just don't tell them that.
