I traded my colt cause my citadel Philippines (rock island) was much more accurate and tighter tolerances not to mention the Springfield ronin was far superior , including my Ruger 1911 that's been slightly a let down to my others and the colt far as accuracy and fit and finish.the colt was made about 10-15yrs ago was a disappointment but have a Caspian I built by hand with Wilson combat parts that's my baby though 😁
I'd say skip the smith and Wesson and sig also for one with internal extractor like JMB intended them to be .and extractors are much easier to find for traditional design 1911's.can be tweeked and tuned if you know what your doing.the sigs and smiths are external extractors.not a deal breaker just kind of a purest on some things
