Even Williams Bottled in Bond is about the best $17 bottle of whiskey I have ever had.
Chattanooga Whiskey is really good too, but it's going up in price about every time I buy it.
If you can find Old Granddad Bottled in Bond get that. It's pretty damn good
Jim Beam is always a good choice. Get the gold label Bottled in Bond if they have it
Old Tub is really good too. It's an unfiltered pre-prohibition style bourbon. I like it.
The Four Roses "Barrel Select" is the sweet spot in the Four Roses line.

Old Charter and Very Old Barton get honorable mentions for solid bottom shelf selections. I ride with a bunch of Kentucky guys who's Dad were master distillers. They recommended those two old school bourbons to me.

Don't knock inexpensive bourbon. Remember, W.L. Weller used to be $15 a bottle until every damn "Bourbon Expert" discovered the chit and now you can't hardly find it.

I have a $10k bottle of bourbon sitting in my liquor shelf. My buddies and I have done several blind taste tests with it in the mix among some $25 bottles, and the results were tight.

Most people are not the bourbon connoisseurs they think they are. Taste are subjective. So go by your taste and not someone else's.

My go to for the last several months has been the Chattanooga Whiskey cask strength. At 111 proof, it's a little hot, but I'm a big fan. Their Rye is also way up on my list. .

Used to be a lifeguard, until that blue kid got me fired.

Buffalo Trace is my go to but here lately I've been drinking Larceny. It's pretty good.

Whistlepig makes a bourbon exclusively for Omni Hotels that I'd rob an orphanage for if I could find one.

Evan Williams usual go to
Jim Beam Black occasionally
Knob Creek Favorite

I’m not much of a bourbon snob I guess. I’ve tried a lot of expensive and not so expensive
Probably only a couple any better than knob creek or as consistent at any price in my opinion and none better enough to be worth the extra money

Evan is just a good consistent flavor at a very reasonable price
Jim Black is a tolerable fairly consistent change of pace

Turkey 101, Buffalo Trace, Makers Mark, Woodford, Elijah Craig….. A lot of good Bourbons out there. Taste is really subjective, drink what you like.

Larceny is my “house” bourbon. It competes with all the high end bourbon that I have but it’s reasonably priced.
