Skeeters thick as thieves here in Lee county. Just started dripping. Sitting in a blind trying to get my son his first bow kill. 2 hens Zero toms. There’s been 2 hanging out every day this week but not a sound this morning. May try this evening.

Theses new rules sure make me want to be an outlaw - my cameras had gobbs 4-5 days ago and had been that way for weeks

Winston County youth hunt with my 5 year old son…we’re settled into a blind on a foodplot where I heard a turkey gobble on his own yesterday afternoon about 5:30. Counting coup today, i guess. Just had a secong gobbler walk right by us following about 200yds behind the first and his hens. I promised my sons girlfriend a bird. Shes out of pocket this morning, couldnt come. I decided to hold off so theyll still be fresh for her.
