That's exactly what I am afraid of deadeye. I'm afraid that the number will be large enough that it will be insurmountable and yes, money can definitely buy elections. Especially when you already have the MSM in your pocket. Every vote by a pre retirement aged person getting a check from the government was bought by the government. Even the ones working for the government.

Y'all sound silly talking about " money laundering ' What's going on in Ukraine, is in fact money laundering though maybe not in a traditional sense. If you think our government gives two schits about Ukraine you're kidding yourself.
If you’re a common sense person, you probably don’t feel you have a home in this world right now. If you’re a Christian, you know you were never meant to.

How much of the billions of dollars we have sent to Ukraine do you think ended up back in the hands of one of our dirty politicians? Percentage wise? It may not be money laundering in the traditional sense, the way we see it in the movies, but it is certainly money laundering and it is as common as houseflies

Money Laundering by definition is the concealment of the origins of illegally obtained money.
That's pretty simple.
The issue with this is what our politicians are getting paid back either directly back out of the Ukraine or by the 1,000's of other businesses that have their hands in that cookie jar is likely 100% legal. They've all got a consulting business on the side where they take the bribes they spend today and the campaign funds are there for when they retire. Or maybe they just fly on over to Ukraine and bring back cash or orchestra their nefarious dealings outside the U.S. and it's system of paper trails.
Call it what you want though. I'll just call it crooked. We all know they just paid the Bidens straight up and when Trump asked about it he got impeached over asking the question.
These are our friends..... Eastern European guy in track suit. Nothing to see here.
No government employees were harmed in the making of this mess.

Or is it just baseless accusations without any proof? Maybe we should start with something simple, how many billions of dollars are we talking about getting ' laundered " in the non traditional sense, as you say. Corrupt is more acceptable Goat. That was a decent rebuttal.

If you trust our govt, and i mean even a little bit, you are not nearly as smart as you fancy yourself to be. If you dont then youre just arguing for the sake of it. Either way youre wrong. Im satisfied with that. Your using words you don't know the meaning of to to talk about a situation you don't understand without realizing the difference between facts and rhetoric from a talk show host that rants for ratings. But as long as you're satisfied.

I'm not worried about immigrants. This country was built by immigrants. I'm worried about Socialists.
I would just insert the word "legal" in front of the word immigrant in your statement. Legal, illegal, what is the difference? They are all erasing the country that my ancestors built for centuries. At least the illegal ones are mostly all Indios and Mestizos who do not achieve political power and social capital like the South and East Asians do.

[quote=Irishguy]China is in an irreversible population decline. They have very few natural resources. The only natural resource they have in abundance is people and the older people are about to become a burden on them with fewer younger people entering the work force. They have a lot more things to worry about than being a global super power. I doubt very seriously if that ever happens. India and Brazil have a better change of one day becoming a super power than China does. Stick a fork in Russia. "Native Born White Americans" said the same things about the Irish in the 1800's. And the Italians, the Germans, the Greeks, the Poles, the Checks, the Swedes, etc... The healthiest dogs are the ones with the most mixed up DNA, not the pure breeds. I'm not worried about immigrants. This country was built by immigrants. I'm worried about Socialists. Do you know who votes the 'Socialists' into power? It's non-European immigrants and their descendants. The problem about a democracy is that the people will vote themselves into infinite 'gibs' and benefits and will eventually slay the 'goose that lays the golden eggs,' so to speak. The fact that many so many """Americans""" have no ancestral connection to this country and no patriotic loyalty or sentiment towards it makes it that much easier for everything to get pissed away.

Well this thread escalated pretty quick as with the other 10,000 Ukraine related threads. Here's what I gathered:
jwalker, I believe Goodman said he wanted to beat yo azz, or hates you, or something along those lines
Swamp captain just joined in to help stir the pot.
Please continue on folks

To listen to anyone talk about how China's got problems and they are not a serious player is certainly an interesting viewpoint.
China pretty well owns our ass. They lose a couple million people ,so what. Maybe 100 million. Doesn't matter. They own the United States right now. It's a serious problem and National Security issue that won't get corrected in the next 2-4 years I can assure you of that. We've got a decade at a minimum to correct this problem. And no Democrat or RHINO wants to talk about it.
Who's in bad shape?..... the United States. That's who. $30+ trillion in debt and GDP has been exceeded. We've thrown money all over the world in the last 2 decades.... and have nothing to show for it. What has all this spending in Washington done for the American People? NOTHING in my opinion but shackle our Country with a massive debt burden, poor infrastructure and a declining standard of living.
We aren't "winning" at a dam thing. Ukraine is just like throwing gas on the fire. It's the United State's war at this point. Where's the Europeans with their wallets and weapons?
The United States walks away from Ukraine no longer the world's super power IMO.

While wars may be considered a good place for politicians to make bank, it’s these type schemes that are far far worse https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/ar...er-slammed-Zooms-Kamalas-tour-Ghana.html'Shame on you': California reparations taskforce member is slammed - as he Zooms in from Kamala's tour of Ghana where she has promised billions for Africa

I think the R's have done a horrible job of educating their people in regards to this situation. When you use words like "not in the traditional sense" thats a red flag. When you don't know the difference between money and aid/assistance , that should be another red flag. If your gonna talk about something, you should do so as accurately as possible. Lets look at what we do know, this will also help answer a question from earlier in the thread. Where's the Europeans with their wallets and weapons? . although there's over 50 countries that supplied aid to UA, this shows the 46 that provided Military Aid to Ukraine also provides breakdowns, including % per gdp https://www.cfr.org/article/how-much-aid-has-us-sent-ukraine-here-are-six-chartsthis helps explain some of the numbers and what they actually mean https://www.state.gov/u-s-security-cooperation-with-ukraine/since folks aren't willing to watch a 2 hour video, maybe you can invest 15 minutes to read a couple of links. If you're unwilling to spend a few minutes to educate yourself on a subject, you probably shouldn't even discuss it.
