I live in Scottsboro and there is absolutely no way I would eat 50 taters. Since Los patrillos closed, the only places worth eating are KC’s BBQ and I guess Jefferson’s or buenavista on the highway.
My wife and I got sick off 50 Taters a couple years ago, ain't been back. KC's BBQ sucks IMO as does Mud Creek now. Holy Smokes is pretty fair . Best BBQ now is Tate's , but it's carryout or eat outside on the picnic table. Shorty's has some fine burgers . I hear the new owners of Pikeville have turned it around, but I haven't been there since they took over. I'm always closer to Shorty's anyway. Why don’t you like KC’s Anthony? It’s hit or miss I will admit, but when it’s on it’s good. They been changing cooks around too, they may have something to do with it.

Last time we ate there Geno's Pizza was pretty good.
Magnolia House is a neat, hole in the wall, meat and 3 place inside an old Victorian home. It was good last time we ate there. Irish, I lived in that house when I was in high school. Hope you didn’t eat in my old bedroom. 🤣🤣🤣

Genos for Pizza or Wings. KC’s at County Park is good enough to visit. Buenavista for messican. Shortys Cafe in Hollywood if you want a good vibe and fancy atmosphere. 😁
As much as I want to recommend The Docks at Goosepond, I can’t. I won’t spend another penny with them. I took the wife and Kids there Saturday. We were sitting for well over an hour before our food ever arrived. A rare cooked steak doesn’t take that long to cook. Food is decent but They are pathetic in terms of running and operating a restaurant.

Is Friday's still open in Stevenson? They're a good meat and three place, good burgers also. They are. I’ve eaten there several times the last month. Both times was good but depending on what they got on the hot bar it can be one of the best meals a man can eat. The last time it was good.. just wasn’t the food I was hoping the had out. A couple of our guys ate burgers and a chicken wrap or something and it all looked good.

Yea but mud creek hasn’t been good since before I was born. It’s time to let it go buddy! 😂 I don’t get the bbq at KC’s anyway. I usually do the wings, chicken, burgers, things like that.
