Yep, that’s why nothing is ever done by the republicans. All mouth no action, like Trey Goudy. Classic case of good cop bad cop routine. Folks just can’t see it.

Greta van Susteren gave Gowdy a real hard time about him not doing squat. She literally told him to his face during an interview just how to go forward and he crawfished.

Voting incumbents out is easier than dodging bullets. So is homeschooling kids and grandkids so they don't turn out progressive voters. Taking a government job so liberals can't get it? Yeah the pay is lower but it hurts less than getting shot.

Government for the people by the people works. It's just that people don't do squat but ask for more government services and complain when it always goes bad.

Hope too, but probably not. And that was my thinking also. I don't see the match/similarity of current dems and reps like some here. I see dems have evolved into taking extravagant measures, lying to no end, throwing a bunch of shucks and hope it sticks in the media or minds of dumb arses, while reps are still laying back and hoping for peaceful measures. Peaceful won't work. There's some who are damned tired of waiting, letting things build too far, and then go all out.

My theory is theyre all playing for the same team. Its a team me and you are not a part of. We are headed to the same place, regardless of who is in charge, they dont necessarily have any choice about that, its already been determined. Certain aspects of all this plan might change a little, depending on who is in charge but the destination is the same. I believe the bus the democraps drive will definately get us to the destination quicker but the republicans bus is going to the same place. Those in charge dont necessarily care whos driving the bus as long as its going where they say its going. All the rest of it is just them stealing what belongs to we the people. Or you might look at it as were the slaves and theyre the plantation owners. They gotta keep us working in order to keep the system going. They take half or more of our money, tell us how we have to spend half the half we get to keep. The rest ee get to spend on our home and food.

This and this exactly. There are 2 classes of people in America... the People and the Popular (politicians, actors, elite, etc.) As long as the People are convinced by the Popular that the People are and should remain pitted against themselves, the People remain where they are and the Popular remain necessary.

The biggest problem in this Country is that we have a Uni-party in Washington. THAT is the problem. Specifically the Senate. The Republicans we elect don't fight for us. They rolled over under George Bush's 2nd term. Still haven't done much of anything. I'm talking about Senate Republicans. They are the ones ruining this country.

Richard Shelby if you want to get specific. Alabama's Senator. The spending bills he's organized and voted for as a lame duck.

We should have voted his ass out long ago. We all know what he has been making for the last couple decades... where'd his kids get all that money?

I can't emphasize enough how important it is to vote EVERY primary and to vote for the best nonicumbamt candidate. If we can mobilize and do this it will begin to change things. There are people out there that care more about this country and don't think as highly as themselves. We keep getting stuck with the likes of Tommy Tuberville or Memaw and it's ridiculous that this is the best we can do.

Sadly this means other fixes are probably the only remaining ones from an earthly perspective. Rhetorical question, Is it time for tea to thrown into the harbor again?

Ultimately this is a real battle between good and evil...this is 100% a spiritual battle and only Christ can restore America.

This is prophetize in the Bible . Good an evil an evil is winning . I don t see an end in sight except only gonna get worse . Just look how gradual everyone has turned from god. A Christian person nowadays is considered a racist by most folks . When they took Prayer out of school been downhill since . Kids are now getting older without god in their life . A they at the age they vote an instill thief ungodly beliefs on others . We have to just admit it we are the minority now. Some kind of major kickback will have to happen for anything to change . We have gradually been taking over by the left wing nuts . Everyone on this site has similarly beliefs an i don t think there is enough of us to make a change across America . I hope I’m wrong .

Solid posts by both of you guys. I have never been very optimistic about the long term future of the USA, but I am less optimistic now than I've ever been. The biblical prophets told of a time coming of peace and prosperity under the reign of the Messiah, but before that comes this world has to go through intense tribulation. It is certainly possible that God could bring about a great revival in our country and those tough times could be much further away than it looks, but the signs I see make me doubt that is going to happen on a level that could change the political direction.

Jesus never tried to reform civil government; He focused on individuals. That's what I've always thought we should do too. I don't think there's any way to prepare for what's ahead, other than getting right with Jesus and encouraging everyone else to do the same.

Well said PCP. That's been my take for years....this is eschatological, and we're such a secular society (even the greater church community) that we see everything through political / sociological lenses. Just conjecture, there's really no clear biblical teaching on this, but I've long heard respected scholars say that they don't believe the US is a player in "end times". As in, we may not even be around. For most of my adult life I've wondered how that would happen, and I can actually see that realistically happening now. Moral and civil decay, multiculturalism has caused total social deconstruction, financial collapse, etc.

When you think about it you really have to consider that Republicans have ZERO offense. Jesus can't really help us with that I don't think. Praying - not going to do much in that arena. Making better choices at the ballot box... That's something that can realistically happen although in Alabama that's still a far fetched idea IMO... that we would vote for someone other than who we are told.

Republicans should have gone into the African American communities years ago and started asking why they like living on the Democrat's plantation. They don't even try. There is no real message. At this point can we not start asking the African Americans why they are still in poverty after all the Obama promises and Biden, not to mention their Democrat run cities. It's not working for them. Trump had a message but the Republican party had ZERO message in 2016. That's why Trump won in the first place. And that is EXACTLY what brings us candidates like Trump. People are sick of the BS and want something different.

Example #2.... Ballot Harvesting. We all know Democrats have a serious ground game right now in terms of voting. Republicans are doing what again? Reading the writing on the wall but only still talking about catching up and doing their own Ballot Harvesting... at least until Trump gets nominated then I would predict 100% of nothing happens. They will try to lose. Again.

Republicans.... Where do they actually try? 8 years of Obama... just rolled over time and time again. Obama said they were going to shut down Government and they'd roll every single time. Then came Trump... and Republicans helped the Democrats. Where are we now? Same place.

Senate Republicans are the issue... The control of Campaign funds and the choke hold they have on the political party as a whole.

When the Republicans start addressing the debut and spending in a real meaningful way then maybe I will start respecting them. They get majority power and don't really use it to implement the parties principles. The Republican candidates, especially from Alabama have all been a little wacko.. Tubberville and Memaw is the best they can do. No peanut farmer from Coffee county who raised 2 children, is a decon at is local rural baptist church, and has been married 34 years wants to run as a Republican. They only get wack jobs. Just not cool to be Republican anymore.. they are against transgender. Who cares.. I never see a transperson and if I did they don't bother me because I don't give a rats ass if you want to walk around dressed as Pluto.. I just don't car.

Spending.. the debt.. I care about those issues.

I'm with Walker on this one. they are the same thing. this country is a player in end times that we are living in. this country is the beast out of the earth in revalation it gives adoration to the antichrist who has been here since 538 a.d. the Bible doesn't teach revival it says there will be a great falling away. I believe we are seeing that and the result of that now.it will continue to get worse until He returns to restore it back to the original creation.

It's a big world out there. The United States falling apart and the end of the world are mutually exclusive in my version of reality. One can happen without the other.

We say... society is falling apart it's the end of Biblical times.... well, I disagree.

I think it's just the United States that is coming unraveled at the hands of corruption.

Only Jesus knows the day and time. If you read history, I'm not so sure the country as a whole wasn't more wild west and corrupt 100-150 years ago. Then, at the turn of the century we had WW1, followed by the great depression, then WW2. Then came Korea and Vietnam. You live through those eras and I believe you tend to establish morals and values because you had to lean on each other to make it through. Now, most of the greatest generation have passed on and we have several generations of society that do not know what its like to live through something like that. Men became soft, as did society as a whole. Then you get what we have today.

Well. I agree more with Levin than some of the aldeer folks on here. I really think he knows more about the current situation than we do. But, thanks for your comments.
