Ideal morning. Couldn't have asked for better conditions. I didn't hear a single thing. Stupid ones are dead and the smart ones have been boogered up. Could very well be true but I’m hunting prime dirt. I have killed 2 here so far and have limited out for the past 11 years I have leased it. I left 4 gobbling with hens a few days ago. Plenty of sign but not a peep today. I would have thought that I would hear every bird within 2 miles today but nope. Tomorrow is a different day and these dang birds leave me scratching my head pretty regular. No gobbles on a perfect day and hear 10 on a funky day. These birds are nuts.

Congrats! I heard a single gobble and wasn't sure where he was.

I lov it PCP - and i thought about that
For multiple seasons i hav been 20-21 hunts straight multiple years and never sit down to a turkey - nothing to work - no gobbles. Thats rough
This season is way different - this 4 year lease i had killed one bird on until this year - i hav killed 2 this year - very lucky. I am not hearing them every morning - but when i do it seems like i kill - very lucky and my 80 in sweetwater finally produced. And i went w a buddy one morning and he scored
