No luck today far as a kill goes. I called in a lone hen but that’s all I had happen today, gonna try it again in the morning before church.

Got on the board today looks like we are off to a pretty decent start.

Not sure yet, I am in the middle of a job change. So may hunt all next week

I’m out of town for work until Tuesday but when I get back those pasture birds better watch out I’ll be breaking out the decoys.

Doing wife’s high school reunion most all weekend. May not get out.

I was tied up all dang weekend and didn't get out there but I'll be back at it this weekend somewhere. I'm hunting up around Tuscaloosa with Tommy Wilcox and another good buddy of ours next week too, I'm really looking forward to it.

I apologize guys I’ve not be able to hunt much at all due to the weather and work schedule this past week. I’m gonna hit it hard starting Monday morning. Picked up permission for some new private land that has some field birds on it. Hopefully I’ll get a chance to go pattern them and take advantage of it.

Haven't been able to get into the woods much, and when I could be in the woods the weather has been, well... severe thunderstorms. Heard gobbles on one morning, Palm Sunday, and those birds were shut down by 7:00 AM. The cutters were in there yesterday (Saturday) morning, crew said 10 days to 2 weeks before they are gone.

No worries. Plenty of time left to catch/makeup

Hate to hear it. !0 days leaves you what 6 days left to hunt? If it takes 2 weeks you could only be left a day or two and if it runs any longer... Good luck to you. Wish I was closer or we could try to figure something out.

Got close to sealing the deal on bird #2 yesterday morning before church. Young male coyote came in and chased the toms and jakes off before making a run at my decoys, needless to say he didn’t leave the scene, the ninjas turned him a flip.

I'm heading up to T Town tomorrow morning to meet Tommy Wilcox and hunt and I'm really looking forward to it. I can't tell you how much I appreciate Tommy for taking the time and the patience he has to make this work for me. Just sitting with him will be a win in my book.

Mighty kind of you to offer youngbuck21. The cutters aren't tying up the entire lease, just the best turkey hunting. I do have another area that I have seen some sign, so that is where I will have to be this coming Saturday morning...no other options.
