Set up listening. Should have worn another layer. It's cold out here. Good luck.

Sat out today. Of course the best weather of the year and I didn't go. Gonna get back after it this week and weekend, weather permitting.

Last time I watched one strut across a county road and drag his wings on the pavement was in your area. Start calling, you never know. Those east central AL birds were the dumbest we ever hunted by far I killed one that flew to me across 231 in Elmore County. Had three fly Co Rd 19 down in Fleeta but they landed in a pasture in front of me and stayed out of range. It can be done. It's just another feature in the landscape for them.

Put my uncle on one and he missed him. The turkey gobbled good, but his hearing is so bad that he couldn't hear him. Old age eventually gets us all, and I am not far behind him.
All the labor of man is for his mouth, and yet the appetite is not filled.
