The weather is the only news I'm interested in and they only report the truth about 50% of the time. I don't know how any of those big personalities like Tucker. Lemon, Beck, etc find such success? When I get home from fighting the everyday grind of running a business, dealing with employee shucks, and everything else that goes along with it, the last thing I want to do it sit down and watch a bunch of folks ranting about the left, right, center, etc.

news is very, very hard to come by, especially on TV; it is mostly commentary, not NEWS. hard to come by "printed" as well, whether on paper or online. i read WSJ headlines for economic news (i don't understand most of the hardcore jargon), and the occasional in-depth story; reuters for on-ground war reporting only (way too left for anything else); euronews for non-climate and non-woke economic and political stories; australian newspaper sites for pacific news; and ESPN online for in-depth non-woke feature and news stories (yes, ESPN is still very good at long-form reporting, like SI used to be) and european soccer news; and Quillette for long-form essays on issues (almost all Quillette essays hammer BOTH sides of issues). and yes, it takes much time to graze to so many sites; i'm retired, so i have to time.

Amazing that they actually get paid and manage to stay employed given that they are incorrect 75% of the time. 80% chance of severe thunderstorms and severe flooding, I'd better take off and go fishing cause that will just about guarantee its going to be either bluebird skies or partly cloudy at most.

Yep. Sunday a week ago, I watched 3 different local weather's guys and checked the weather ap before heading to the boat ramp. None of them mentioned any rain. Said what clouds were out there would be moving out. I launched and ran about 6 miles and ran into the rain which lasted about an hour. Wind blew about 40 mph for 3 hrs. Smith lake was white capping.

A few years ago, back when I still had cable TV, or watched TV for that matter, I woke up to start my day pre-dawn. I run a lawn service and weather is a factor. Local weather man says it’s all clear, according to radar and just a 30% chance of afternoon showers. It was, in fact, currently storming with lightning and coming down at about an inch an hour. The studio is a mile from my house.

I knew how far gone it all was when I started checking validity of articles on blacklistednews and found most of them were accurate. Nuts.
It ain't news but if you want to see things from the perspective of the other side check democraticunderground. Total moonbat dumpsterfire. I try and listen to the other side to try and understand them. Don’t think I ever will but it keeps me up to date with their plans Tucker Carlson wa son MSNBC at one time. Glenn Beck was on CNN and morning Joe used to be somewhat conservative in a fleeting moment. I’ll scan different sources give the same story differently. The AP and Reuters sometimes is strange but news but gotta pay attention. Most networks actually use those and a few other networks to write their stories. These days it’s impossible to know the actual truths
