I built a building on that Campus back in the early 90's. Learned that the original Charter written by a woman states that the School can NEVER have a Football Team....
Same was said about USA in Mobile when I was there in ‘83 and a bunch of guys were trying to get a club team started. Eventually getting a real team but Montevallo will never have a football team.
