Used my milwaukee 1/4 ,inch today. Its fine for small stuff even lugnuts. The 1/2 inch is a beast capable of twisting a nice size bolt in to.

I would just stick with the same brand all your cordless tools are. batteries are the biggest expense. Yup once you have enough batteries and chargers just buy the tool only and save money

I will say, I tried several no name Chinese stuff from Ama#%^ and none would budge the nuts off the mower of mine. I finally went with an electric one from harbor freight. The guys mentioning Dewalt, Makita and Milwaukee are spending a lot more than what I wanted to spend.
