Joes Italian in Alabaster is really good I heard ownership changed; last time I went it was bad. If you can't make decent spaghetti and meatballs.....

Amore on 280, hands down.

Gianmarcos is the benchmark for Italian food in Bham. I haven't had Amore yet, but have heard good things. Not a fan of Bellini's. We recently went to Le Fresca and left VERY impressed and was MUCH easier to get into than Gianmarcos. Bettola is good if you can't get in anywhere else.

Never was impressed with Joe's Italian. I would consider it below average.
Gianmarco's and Bottega are tops.

Joes Italian in Alabaster is really good really good? Try amazing! We love that place. We've been since the old man passed and it was still great. The slice of cake for dessert could feed 4 and I'm not joking. Gianmarco's was really good and I'd go back.

I guess I'm just too white trash to like good Italian homemade spaghetti with ground deer meat and whatever sauce I happen to buy or Stouffers frozen lasagna is better than any "real" Italian I've ever tried
We will burn that bridge when we get there

amore on 280 is fantastic. Bellini’s on 119 is close by, cheaper and almost as good.

Giuseppe’s downtown is a hidden gem. Gianmarcos is also fantastic as stated above. These are my top two

We had the lasagna and pork pizza at Bertilones in Calera last night. Both were good. The cakes are another level of good.

Grand Ticino is excellent as well. Across 280 from Amore's.
