Hard to say what is true or not, but it is well known to be true that the Wagner group has very different ideas than the Russian leadership about how the ground war should be waged.

That is the thing about mercenaries. Just as they were bought in they can be bought off. Pres. Z just needs to come up with the cash to pay them with the promise that when Putin goes down, the Wagners can have Russia. Of course, they would need to figure out how they could keep the Wagners in Russia and not have World domination fantasies like Putin. I'm not sure how that can be done, but it could be done somehow.
Lord, please help us get our nation straightened out.

Vlad and Eugenie are pals, otherwise he wouldn't be able to say things about the Motherland like this.
Vlad's playing some kind of game with his underlings and using Eugene to spout off. It'll either end with some generals being deposed-disappeared or Evangene taking a missle to the melon out in Ruskrainia. Possibly both.
I don't see Vlad winning this and cementing his vision of a reunified land.

Just read where Putin wants to bring charges against the Wagner head so the friendship looks like it is headed south. Z really needs to take advantage of this rift but Wagner guy is saying they need to finish this so they may just get more ruthless. It will be interesting, albeit sad, to see how this plays out. Putin normally just makes the person he doesn't like disappear or commit suicide but in this case, it's probably a little harder than normal to make the Wagner head go away given they he's probably in control of a better military group than Putin. Things could get interesting.

Keep in mind, we are just getting the Western version of this news.It could all be total bullsh1t and given the total lack of good faith and trust our media has given us I tend to think it most likely is a bunch of bull. Russia and Wagner are most likely very much on the same page.

Not really sure what to make of the Prigozhin guy as of late. The thing about Russians is that everything they say is some kind of propaganda or an outright lie. SO you don't know how much if this is some kind of staged play. Still interesting nonetheless... I've been wondering for some time if there was a chance that the Wagner group could switch sides, or if they could lead an all out Russian Civil War. This statement almost leads you to think it may be the latter. ![[Linked Image]](https://live.staticflickr.com/65535/52996393671_95e132fc7b_b.jpg) Interesting dude to say the least. Went from selling hot dogs to running a government backed group of mercenaries. Between him and Putin, it’s hard to decide which one is worse, but Prigozhin has pretty much landed on his feet with the hands he’s been dealt over the past few months. Wagner has trained, battle hardened soldiers compared to what Russia’s been sending to the front, and if I were in charge of it I’d be pissed off seeing the same logistical mistakes being made by the Russian military and being blamed for losing. If the reports of Wagner being attacked by the Russian army and Wagner retaliating, this could get ugly pretty quickly. If only there’s a way that both could be annihilated.

Scenario............ Boom Putin out = Who takes over next? Will they be better or worse?
Likely very similar, unfortunately. Medvedev hopefully goes down with Putin, but the successor probably won’t be an improvement. Russia is honestly more like the Mafia than a normal country at this point. Slow bleeding their military in Ukraine and hamstringing it for decades will help minimize Russia no matter who replaces Putin, though.

Don't know who they are, nor do I care.
It never ceases to amaze me how the aggressors can pretend moral superiority. Wouldn't hurt my soul if Ukraine, russia, all the soviet states, china, iran, pakistan, north korea all took an acid bath. I'd also toss in the US cia, fbi, irs, atf, and the rest of the US alphabet soup. The world would be a better place without all of them.
