If it were to play out that way it certainly would give Russia the buffer zone they want with NATO But it would also destroy/pollute the farmland that feeds them along with Europe and other parts of the world A double edged sword is exactly what that is

I hope that doesn't happen, but the players over there, all of them, are not like us. Theirs morals, after generations of Godless Soviet domination , are corrupt to the core.

Now here's where the speculation comes in, so bear with me... What if? 1. Prigozhin takes over military operations in Belarus and opens a new front with Ukraine. 2. Rumors are floating around that when the "Ukrainian Russian Patriot" brigade went across the border into Belgorod that they stole tactical nuclear weapons and brought them back to Ukraine. Probably artillery rounds if I had my guess. 3. Belarus attacks from the north with Prigozhin riding herd. 4. Ukraine supposedly "responds" to the attack by firing a tactical nuke at Belarus. 5. Belarus responds to the "Ukrainian nuclear attack" by nuking Kiev. 6. Russians can claim plausible deniability, because it was Belarus that fired off the nuke in "self-defense." 7. Russians look up from the chess board at the western leaders and say, "Check! Your move USA and Western Europe..." I may be giving the Russian brain trust too much credit, but this is the kind of thing they would do and it would certainly make a good season of Jack Ryan. IMO all or parts of these seven possibilities are likely.

One thing I know for a fact through all this speculation and hearsay is that there is at most, a tiny bit of truth to anything being made public. Nothing is ever what it seems.

Starting basically right now, cause the Sun is coming up over there at the moment, this entire week is going to be interesting to see how this mess shakes out. Ukraine has yet to try and make a full response to any of these developments which indicates that they might be concerned that they are the one's being toyed with and that this entire thing is just a way to set up Ukraine for failure. Russia is no slouch when it comes to militarizing propaganda and pulling off really big stunts to trick an enemy.

Z might have info that indicates that there is about to be a Russian Civil War so the best move is to sit back and watch things unfold. I haven't followed events closely like others on here have so I don't know what is going to happen but I do know that people that make a living from following it say that Putin's reign is about over, one way or another.
Lord, please help us get our nation straightened out.

Now the story is coming out that the FSB (KGB) basically told Prigozhin that they were going to do unspeakable things to his family if he didn't stand down. https://news.yahoo.com/russian-agents-threat-family-made-204246993.htmlWhich also makes sense... But you would think that if you or I decided to stage a coup, that we would make sure our families were out of harm's way and hidden in some remote country. It's not like he doesn't have a ton of money... I don't know what to believe anymore about any of this chit...

If the news is saying the FSB did anything other than eat a regular meal and take a daily poop then you know its propaganda news.

My guess is that is a cover story to make Putins control of the government look stronger than it actually is. My guess is that things are much more turbulent within the power ranks there than any of them would want us to know. And I don't know whether to be relieved or scared shitless about that. I think Russia as a failed state ruled by warlords should scare the entire world.

this has kinda been going on for a month or more. It sorta started, at least publicly with the mod not supplying enough artillery shells to wagner. Prig released a couple of call out videos directed at shog. Then there was some accidental attacks on wagner by the russian army. Mining a road out of Bakmut when wagner turned over the town to the russian military was kinda suspect as well. It was the road ahead of wagner. So this has been escalating for a minute. So this isn't a big surprise.
I was a little concerned that this was a ploy by the russians to move their better more experienced fighter away from the front so they could blow the zapp NPP that they mined. Either way Prig could see the writing on the wall and knew the the Ukranian offensive was building steam and probably isn't going to be stopped. Not unless something drastic happened. He's been telling them for weeks that lieing about the situation was only making the situation worse.

Trump ordered an air strike on them when they were encroaching on some US SoF and Putin told Trump they weren’t RF troops.

F22's,F15's B52's, c130's, AH64 Apache, Himars, M777 , and Reaper drones are enough to give anyone a bad day. I'm sure that's why Putin waited till he was out of office before pulling this stunt. Much stronger leader than the spineless coward now in office.

He said he personally saw Trump lean across the table and tell Putin if he tried anything like this he would blow Moscow off the face of the earth. In either the same or another documentary on Putin, one of his ex-DOD ministers was discussing their plans on how they would do the ground invasion of the US. He said the last region of the country they would take was the southeast. They own guns and know how to use them.

We'd just laugh hysterically and tell them they had to keep all the people too. With a week or so, they'd be telling us they were sorry and that they'd leave the US and never come back, if we'd just take those two states back from them.
