Was at a cookout when LO looked at the grill loaded with burgers and dogs. He grabbed one of his bottles of sauce out of his van and doused down the burgers and dogs. He laughed and said that’s how you cook burgers and dogs. They were good that way.

Stopped by their place the other and Luther was mixing the sauce up. He was teary eyed and red faced from the mix

Could not do plating - this was for a friend that just had surgery - will drop off with him

Cooked 7 pound butt about 23 1/2 hours - covered w spicy brown mustard then seasoned -160 to 210 degrees was cook temp on oklahoma joe smoker - last 5-6 hour at 130-160 - let rest 3-4 hours in cooler. Prepared bake beans adding jolepino - ketchup - rostershire - spicy brown mustard - link of connecuh - 3 strips of fried bacon. Also cooked sister shubert rolls and my friend will get 1/2 slab of ribs cooked yesterday and 7-8 links of smoked deer link - all pictured yesterday

Didn't grill and it's nowhere near traditional 4ty of July food but I shelled a bucket of crowder peas yesterday so we having crowder peas and corn bread and I'm not even mad at it.
