My impression of the Precision Hunter is that the bullet is lightly constructed and intended to open easily at low impact velocity. Obviously at the expense of absolute penetration at close range. Most of these new hot rod rounds do use heavy for caliber bullet weights which would help with sectional density and mitigating extreme impact velocity.
If it’s a light body animal at long distances, I’d say precision hunter. If it’s heavy bodied animals, possibly at closer distances, I’d say the cx outfitter. There’s probably a good deal of overlap in acceptable performance at medium distances.
I’ll be interested to hear what people have to say who’ve actually used both.

I shoot the precision hunter in my 6.5prc and have shot deer as close 50yds and as far as 300yds. All have been dropped in tracks,so I'm sold on them

They grouped great, barely got any expansion on whitetails with them though. Now I’m shooting a 120gr. Barnes TTSX out of one and a Nosler 140gr AccuBond out of the other. Both rounds group great and perform flawlessly on the whitetails I’ve shot with them.

I would use the Hornady ELDM bullets over the ELDX bullets.

All I can say if that I hope they come out with some better factory ammo. BUT what you see available in ammo is exactly where the edge is over 7 Mag.
I would get a reloading press @ $60+ a box then you can shoot a Nosler. I don't like anything currently offered in this for deer hunting.
