Why wouldn't they look for a buyer instead of just shutting the doors...maybe they did and couldn't find one.

Seen them come and go. I ran a successful online hunting and food plot seed business. I found a niche online back in the day in specific products like Outdoor Edge and Biologic even giving the big boys competition. But that fizzled out after several years and making the mistake of getting involved with Amazon after being pestered for several years. Outdoors, hunting, and firearms is a tough market. Feel bad for the employees especially being thrown under the bus not knowing.

I agree that they should’ve given a heads up of at least the possibility of closing. I’d say Woods and Water in Tuscaloosa is next but they’ve stayed open for years with hardly any customers so I guess they’ll keep going. Must be nice to have people behind the scenes prop up your business.
