Help me understand this……..How did we get from Adam and Eve to there being Neanderthals and Homo Sapiens?....Are we all “humans” or arent we??

There is a lot of scientific speculation and theory with any prehistoric set of bones. Do you think the T Rex looked the way scientists have depicted? I would bet my last nut it did not.

Before the Ice Age, Homo Erectus populated all of Africa, Asia, and Europe. Then the Ice Age set in and Homo Erectus speciated into H. Neanderthalensis in Europe, H. Hiedelgergensis then H. Sapien in Africa, and H. Denisovian and late H. Erectus/Floresiensis/Peking in the Asian sub-continent. After the Toba eruption, all that remained was H.Sapien in Africa, H. Neanderthalensis in Europe, and some random H. Denisovians throughout Asia. As the Ice Age started to let up H.Sapien spread beyond Africa for a second time and interbred with few Neanderthalensis and Denisovians (he wanted some strange). Then all that was left about 17,500 yrs ago was H.Sapiens, and H. Floresiensis on some scattered Indonesian Islands. Around 11,000 yrs ago we had the first Great Flood and then subsequent Great Floods up unto about 7500 yrs ago. Those floods were caused by ice dams breaking away in Canada and basically a few Great Lakes worth of freshwater poured into the oceans.
As for your question. Adam and Eve developed in the Sahara region of Africa around 70,000 yrs ago. It was a nice temperate forest climate like Alabama is today with clean fresh water rivers and abundant food. i.e. a Garden of Eden.

While we are asking questions
The first forms of life according to scientists consumed carbon dioxide and produced oxygen. These were cynobacteria that evolved into plants. CO2 levels continued to increase. This is the standard theory. Are we simply to believe that animals then evolved from plants and did just the opposite by using oxygen and producing carbon dioxide? Seems like a pretty big jump to me. What we are seeing now with rising CO2 levels is that plants are thriving where they haven't before. Where is the evolutionary pressure for a life form to go the opposite direction. I asked a couple of professors about this while I was at Auburn. Once in a graduate level evolution class and never got an answer.

They obviously didnt tell you the most basic lesson. Crawfish and Scorpions, Crawfish came first but evolved into Scorpions as conditions dried in certain places then later some Scorpions speciated (back) into Crawfish when conditions got wet again.

Probably should go over the giant skeletons found, if were gona get into digging up bones. What point in history is it where the scientists say the giants were here? Where do they belong in our evolution? The first record according to scripture is around 5000-5500 years ago They were on the earth approximately 1000 years or so before the flood in Noah’s day The Union between the fallen ones and human woman obviously happened again after that because there are records of giants afterwards

News headlines like this one do not help things. Alien weaponry from 3000 years go. https://www.dailymail.co.uk/science...-weapon-3-000-years-ago-Switzerland.htmlMeteoritic Iron was some of the first metals humans learned to work into tools and was widely traded for over 50,000 years. You can pick up an iron meteor, throw it in a really hot fire and start hammering it into whatever shape you like. You dont need to figure out how to smelt it out of ore in the ground.

Crawfish and Scorpions, Crawfish came first but evolved into Scorpions as conditions dried in certain places then later some Scorpions speciated (back) into Crawfish when conditions got wet again. That's more believable than a plant utilizing photosynthesis then evolving into an animal utilizing respiration. Hell of a jump right. That would have been a total genetic rewrite.

Bishop Ussher. However, if you start with the great flood, as described with Noah, it times perfectly with the great floods other societies have of about 7500 yrs ago. The Chinese, Native Americans, Indians, and even Australian Aborigine, all ahve stories about the Great Flood and they all time to about 7500 years. A lot of the Bible fits nicely with what we have learned with the Geologic and Evolutionary record.

I have read about the Gilgamesh account and it does not surprise me that an ancient civilization would have a flood story as many do

What are we up to now, 6008 years? According t the scientists a few years ago it was 8 billion, today the latest estimate was 13.8 billion. So, in a decade the universe has aged 5.8 billion years, that is assuming all the scientists agree, which they dont. But the word of God dont change, has not nor will not. It is what it is. Scientists have not yet devised an accurate method of determiningbthe age of one rock, yet they try to announce the age of all the universe. Thats kinda odd to me.
