If you were talking about a domestic violence situation then I would agree. But that is not what this was. These women were punching and kicking men. When that happens they too become fair game.

The black security guard had no right to touch the man’s boat, it was parked legal. I don’t know this for a fact but I heard he was already being rude and to the point of “pushing” the man’s wife. She pointed out what the man had done and that’s why the white guy charged the black guy after he found how how he treated his wife over the whole situation. That’s just hear say but it makes sense.

I would bet that boat captain and co-captain are going to get in some kind of trouble, it was the co-captain who got off the riverboat and started messing with the pontoon boat. I do not know what the rules are concerning boat captains and insurance companies and boat owners but I bet leaving your boat and messing with somebody elses boat is not ok.

I wouldn't be surprised if the ferry boat rides came to an end.

The only one of the three Selma people that I know is Allen Todd. He was on the same high school football team with my son. Not a bad kid, but takes after his dad, who was there and took his wife, son, and daughter (under aged to be drinking) and they got whooped up on. Allen drinks too much is his only issue, which he gets honestly. I only wish he had shown the same reckless abandon on the football field.

If I was the boat's insurance company I would have dropped their coverage the second the news broke. I wonder if they have yet, if not they are acquiring a lot of risk by the minute.
If I was the boat owner, I would have fired the captain, and the entire crew on the spot. Yes, the pontoon owners made bad choices, but the captain and crew also made bad choices when its their primary job to not make bad choices that could endanger the passengers and boat.
