I would say that any cop that wasn’t actively trying to break apart and de-escalate the situation was in the wrong. There was a lot going on with the situation and I can promise you I don’t like any of it. None of it should have happened, period. There’s multiple charges coming down the pipe, they aren’t through yet.

I agree....I'm not down with the hitting women stuff but if I had just watched helplessly as my co-worker, doing what he was told, got jumped by several drunk morons I'd be wanting to whip some drunk moron ass myself. Disregard color and look at it as your work buddy getting beat on by a mob while your trapped in a cage watching it happen and then the cage door swings open. I know a few white folks, Mexicans and a homosexual or two that would come boiling out of a boat also.

That has been my question all along. If there was no sign then this same thing could have happened in any shopping center parking lot.

As for the signage, I don’t know. I honestly don’t remember what’s posted down there or if there is any. I’m speaking out loud, but I don’t recall any private boat ever docking or attempting to dock there.

I don't think a lot of folks understand that the riverboat can't just park anywhere. There is a permanent ramp on the dock they have to park beside in order to unload all those colored folk. So the captain tells drunk cracker to move the pontoon and gets a middle finger. Meanwhile the natives are getting restless, apparently only 1 of them knows how to swim. So Skipper sends Gilligan to the dock to move the boat because, let's be honest 30- 45 minutes I'd way more time than the should have been given to do it themselves. Gilligan is obviously pissed by the time he gets to the dock. I know I would have been. If it was me I probably would have let the damn pontoon float down river. Yall know what happens next. I gotta say all the way around the Crackers have to take responsibility for this cluster pluck. Even when the boat o' monkey's docked and the shucks hit the fan they should have been out of there. If they couldn't see what was about to go down then that shows just how drunk they was. The guys should not have put the women in that situation. Not saying the natives that got off the boat and started beating them were justified to do so but they are what they are. I guess pontoon cracker thought they was gonna pile off the boat and come over to shine his shoes or something.
