For us fellers that can’t afford Lucchese boots mostly, which brand boot of the two do you like better and why?

They all are over priced for their quality but I believe the 2 you have in mind will be equal in that

Like em both. However the problem I've had with the twisted X is they're too dang narrow in the heel, i end up grunting and groaning like someone in a public crapper when attempting to put on. I got a nice pair of moc bottomland boots i need to send down the rd i reckon.

I wear Ariats for work and general daily wear. I like Tecovas for dress boots.

I am currently wearing Ariat Workhogs that I bought back in May. I dont think they are as comfortable as my old Georgia Farm Ranch wedge sole boots. I do believe the Ariats are better built but time will tell.

I like my Ariat rebars. I have a brand new pair in the closet waiting to be broken in when my others wear out which was last year but they're too comfortable lol...

I wear twisted X personally, but I suggest you go somewhere and try them both on. I have 2 pair of Ariat and they simply are not nearly as comfortable to me. I say to me because I believe it is foot dependent. I know people that prefer Ariat bc the Twisted X boots don’t fit their heel, arch, or whatever. I have the twisted x nano toe with cell stretch and also the moc driving slip on.

I’ve been through about 4 or 5 pairs of Ariats in the past 11 or 12 years. Always been comfortable and I wear them on a daily basis. Before that I always wore Justin’s or Wolverine.

Twisted x are more comfortable but the ariats hold up a whole lot better. Many a welding rod has been burned over the past 2 years wearing these

Twisted x worked good for me. I added an orthopedic insole to mine. I went to hoka hiking shoes and ain’t looking back. They don’t last any longer and cost more but they are the most comfortable shoes I’ve ever had. I get 3-4 months out of a pair of shoes.

It be's that way sometimes.

Love my twisted x, feels like wearing a tennis shoe. I got the 8" and it made pulling them over my cankles WAY easier.

If you have a narrow heel Twisted X is great. We tried every kind of boot we could find for my wife for months and nothing until she tried a pair of them
