I wish Ball Sweat was worth money! Phuck Summer!
Come on October! Yessir I work in the heat everyday but these past few weeks have been hell. I remember years where we had a few 100 plus degree days but not three weeks or so if 100 degree heat. When I unload my equipment in the morning and load it back up in the afternoon the damn chains and binders are so hot you can’t touch them. Fck this heat.

I was in Vegas a couple of weeks ago for a trade show…..it was 115°+ each day and we had to walk 5 blocks from the hote to the convention center and back each day…in “business casual” clothes and carrying a backpack. We never broke a sweat during that walk. We walked 4-5 miles a night on the strip and it was anywhere from 95-100° even then, and even then the only slight little bit of sweat was around the inside edge of my cap.
The humidity was below 10% the entire time. It was hot, but it wasn’t uncomfortable and it was much easier to breathe than it was today in Tuscaloosa. I’d take that 115° and low humidity over this BS any day

Yep. Western heat ain’t crap. You can easily dehydrate though. Handling the heat itself is much easier.

It's been humid in North Bama, but this summer overall has been manageable IMO. Local TV in HSV is calling for a low of 61 a couple nights this week. I'd say that will feel real good. I may get a case of anal glaucoma if that happens. Really, just glad we've had plenty of rain vs wishing for.

I picked some Morel mushrooms this week. Off my taint.

It's been bad the last two weeks around here. Lake Guntersville sandwiched between hardwood mountain ranges is naturally humid . The rains we've had last two weeks has multiplied it. It's very foggy right now . Weather girl says relief is on the way , bring it on!

Ran Saturday AM. Humidity was 95% according to one guy in our group. By the end of the run, it looked like all of us had been swimming instead.
