Settle a debate between me and the wife. I am working on my yamaha 30 hp. It needs new paint. Instead of painting it the original paint scheme, I’ve been think about painting it to look like a Yamaha HPDI. She said it would look stupid because yamaha never made an HPDI under 150 hp. Anyone who knew this would say it was dumb. I said that it would look slick, and that anyone who saw it would think it’s cool. I even found a place who made the V Max graphics small enough to fit. What say y’all, paint it like the HPDI or leave it like it originally was? It’s just paint, I can always repaint later. This is what it originally looks like ![[Linked Image]](https://i.postimg.cc/W4LzBD4Q/IMG-5569.jpg) This is what I would make it look like ![[Linked Image]](https://i.postimg.cc/fTVbk7tG/IMG-1188.jpg) The little V max stickers ![[Linked Image]](https://i.postimg.cc/q71f8YWj/IMG-5567.png)

I think it would look awesome. Wanna practice on my hpdi first? 😁. Damn paint peeling all over. Fun fact: this is a dead ringer for HPDI blue. It's a lot cheaper and easier than Yamahas three step process. I've used it multiple times. ![[Linked Image]](https://i.postimg.cc/fW33RCnk/20230822-173647.jpg)

I say to fix your boat the way you want it! There's something about having one that is unique.

Indeed!
